Commercial flat roofing you can rely on
For a business, a leaking roof isn’t just a repair bill — it’s damaged stock, closed rooms and unhappy tenants or guests.
Most commercial buildings in and around Bournemouth have flat roofs, and many are now decades old. Whether you manage a parade of shops in Boscombe, an office in Lansdowne, a hotel on the East Cliff or a unit on one of the business parks around Wallisdown, Hurn and Ferndown, you need a roofer who’ll assess the roof honestly, explain your options clearly and get the job done with as little disruption as possible.
As a family-run, second-generation business, our name is on every roof we finish. Flat roofing is our speciality, and we bring the same care to a large warehouse roof as we do to a garage.

Commercial flat roofing systems
The right system depends on the size of the roof, the existing build-up, foot traffic, plant and equipment, and your budget and timescales. We’ll recommend the best fit and explain why.
- Torch-on felt (reinforced bitumen membranes) — a robust, proven multi-layer system that copes well with large areas, plant, upstands and complex details.
- EPDM rubber — large single-ply sheets with few seams, quick to install and very low-maintenance.
- GRP fibreglass — ideal for smaller areas, walkways, balconies and roofs that need a neat, durable finish.
- Liquid-applied systems — seamless, cold-applied coatings that can refurbish a sound existing roof with minimal disruption and no naked flames.

Call us on 01202 761960. We’ll advise you over the phone and arrange to make the roof safe and watertight as soon as we can, then plan a permanent repair. See emergency roofing.
Commercial flat roof repairs & maintenance
Regular maintenance is the cheapest way to extend the life of a commercial flat roof. Blocked outlets, failed laps and storm damage are much easier to deal with before water reaches the building. We carry out inspections, clear outlets and gutters, and make targeted roof repairs across Bournemouth — and many manufacturers’ guarantees depend on that kind of routine care.
Commercial roofing across Bournemouth, Poole & Christchurch
We work on commercial buildings throughout Bournemouth — from the town centre, Lansdowne and Boscombe to Wallisdown, Kinson and the business parks out towards Hurn — as well as across Poole, Christchurch and East Dorset towns such as Ferndown and Wimborne. For homes, see our domestic flat roofing in Bournemouth.
Commercial flat roofing FAQs
Can you replace our flat roof while the business stays open?
In most cases, yes. We plan the work in sections, keep the building watertight at the end of every day and agree timings, access and noisier tasks with you in advance. Liquid-applied and overlay systems can reduce disruption even further.
Do you work with landlords and managing agents?
Yes. We can provide clear specifications, quotes and photographs for freeholders, landlords, residents’ associations and managing agents, and we’re happy to liaise with them directly.
Can you refurbish our existing flat roof instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. If the existing deck and insulation are sound and dry, an overlay or liquid-applied system can extend the roof’s life at a lower cost. We’ll survey the roof first and tell you honestly whether it’s suitable.
How long does a commercial flat roof last?
Quality systems that are installed and maintained properly commonly last 20 to 30 years or more. Exposure, foot traffic, plant and maintenance all make a difference, and we’ll give you realistic guidance for your building.
Do you provide reports for insurers, surveyors or boards?
Yes. We can provide a written condition report with photographs and recommendations, which is useful for insurers, surveyors, planned maintenance budgets and board meetings.
